An article in CRM Management magazine some time ago highlighted the term “hygienic KPIs”. This was defined as “how good you are at using the application”.
This line of thinking mirrors that of Collier Pickard. We believe that measuring performance against top level business goals is vital – but we also believe that some simple housekeeping and low-level measurement can massively improve the attitude towards CRM within an organisation.
