We Are Cloud and their SAAS BI product Bime have today been chosen by KillerStartUps to feature among the 15+ start-ups they review each day. They ask visitors to vote for the application they think will be a “killer”.

We Are Cloud was founded in Montpellier, France in July 2009 by Nicolas Raspal and Rachel Delacour, although Bime has been in development since 2007. Rachel and Nicolas saw the real need for easy-to-use yet powerful BI tools and recognised that the emergence of cloud computing and rich internet application technologies would allow new innovation in these areas. They are expanding fast to meet customer demand and are excited by the signals that the power of SaaS BI is beginning to be understood and accepted by the wider BI market.

To answer the question: can data visualizations be embedded just anywhere? The answer is yes - each dashboard is generated with its own individual embed code, so anywhere you can put an <embed> code, you can put a Bime dashboard.  Not only can you do this, but as the creator of the dashboard you can save your dashboard as an image, PDF, to Excel or to a CSV file - and as a viewer you can export it from the player as an image, PDF or to Excel!

What are the next steps for the company?

We Are Cloud are totally focused on providing the easiest and best business intelligence suite on the market. They are continuing to grow organically as demand for SaaS products skyrockets and users reject the traditional BI systems for lightweight and intuitive offerings. Bime’s product development targets change rapidly as they add new features to the product every couple of weeks, and Bime 2.0 has just been released, featuring a wealth of improvements, fixes and advanced functionalities.
