Blue Valley School District uses SAS® to improve performance

JOHNSON COUNTY, KS  (Mar. 06, 2009)  –  SAS® data warehousing, analysis and reporting are helping Blue Valley Schools achieve dramatic improvements in standardized test scores through individualized instruction. Personalized student learning is at the heart of Blue Valley’s strategic plan to provide “Education Beyond Expectations.” 

The SAS solution, providing timely access to data on more than 21,000 students at all grade levels, is critical to the academic success of Blue Valley students. The suburban Kansas City district collects data on student demographics, grades, state assessment scores and Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) exams. Analyzing MAP results lets schools predict student performance on the state tests.
