Continual Expansion of Data Warehousing and the Appliance Market

In the last year or so, the business intelligence community has seen a rise in the popularity of the data warehousing appliance space.  Although data warehousing has always been a main component within BI, vendors seem to be developing a niche market for themselves that include a wide variety of data warehousing solutions – whether appliances, analytics servers, or the increase in cloud computing options, the fact remains that many organizations look to data warehousing solutions to help consolidate their data and analyze that information to determine business opportunities and to identify potential issues before they occur.
