Data Governance Assessment Finds Companies at a Turning Point

Kalido, the leading independent provider of data governance solutions, today released its initial analysis of their Data Governance Maturity Assessment survey that shows only one in 10 organizations have been able to move their data governance programs beyond the lowest two levels of data governance maturity. Based on the responses, nearly a third (32.1 percent) of existing programs fall into the “Application-Centric” (lowest) stage of maturity when assessing their Technology – more than double the number of organizations rated Application-Centric in either People or Processes (both 14.3 percent).
