Gartner, Inc. is accepting nominations for its Business Intelligence (BI) Excellence Awards 2010. Nominations will be accepted online through 20 November 2009 from any end-user organisation that has implemented a BI or performance management (PM) programme or project.
The award will be presented to one of three finalists presenting their cases at the Gartner Business Intelligence Summit 2010 on Monday 1 February in London. Gartner BI analysts will evaluate, recognise and shortlist the finalists, while the delegates at the event will chose the most successful recent BI implementation by an end-user organisation.
“BI, analytics and performance management (PM) initiatives have been the top technology priority for CIOs in Gartner's annual CIO Executive Program (EXP) survey since 2006,” said Neil Chandler, research director at Gartner. “Economic uncertainty has increased demands for new or better ways to seek, model and adapt to improve performance at all levels of the organisation, which makes a framework for these initiatives crucial.”
