Toronto, Ontario - March 18, 2009 - Infobright, the open source data warehousing company, today announced that Gartner, Inc. has named Infobright in its “Cool Vendors in Data Management and Integration” report for 2009.
The “Cool Vendor” report highlights companies with innovative approaches and technologies for improving the scalability of databases and data warehouses, introducing new optimization techniques, integrating data for delivery to software as a service (SaaS)-based applications, and ensuring the integrity of data across applications and data structures. According to Gartner, each of these areas will grow in importance as organizations work toward managing information as a strategic corporate asset.
