Italy's social security agency (INPS) has selected Teradata, a provider of enterprise data warehousing, and SAS, a business analytics software and services firm, to implement a combined Teradata and SAS enterprise data warehouse (EDW) and analytics system for healthcare-related fraud detection.
The companies said the new system that includes software, hardware and services will accommodate the organisation's growing requirements for visibility into detail data and analytical business insight, reduce costs and add efficiencies.
