There were a number of significant events in the BI (business intelligence)space in 2008. IBM acquired Cognos, Oracle acquired Hyperion, SAP bought Business Objects and Microsoft acquired DATAllegro. With smaller players as acquisition targets, could Informatica be next in line since it has a good partnership with Oracle?
