R Companies Opening Up To Open Source Data Mining?

Open source used to be the illegal alien in corporate IT citizenship. Not any more. While much of the early focus in BI has been basic reporting, 'R' is a mature open source data mining project that's a lot more advanced and ambitious - targeting a diverse range of complex data analysis applications.
