Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT), the world's leading provider of open source solutions, today announced a call for presentations for its Open Source Cloud Computing Forum, a virtual event scheduled to take place July 22, 2009. The Forum will focus on how open source software and standards will advance the development and value of cloud computing environments.
Open source software is widely used by today's cloud deployments, and provides the support for industry standards and interoperability that utility computing requires. Open source is expected to play a continuing, vital role in the future of cloud computing.
Developers, vendors and customers are welcome to submit presentations for the Open Source Cloud Computing Forum at www.redhat.com/cloud-forum/present.
