SAS, the leader in business analytics software and services, and Netezza Corporation, the global leader in data warehouse and analytic appliances, have expanded their partnership to bring in-database analytic processing to mutual customers. Joint R&D will further integrate the companies’ respective products, starting with SAS® Scoring Accelerator for Netezza, available worldwide in early 2010.
The SAS Scoring Accelerator for Netezza will help businesses obtain analytical results faster for more efficient, reliable decisions. Customers using SAS® Enterprise Miner™ and the Netezza TwinFin™ data warehouse appliance will translate and execute scoring models directly within Netezza’s massively parallel environment so they can act on results more quickly.
As a long-time customer of these technologies, Catalina Marketing is nearing the pinnacle of its data mining efforts.
