Teradata Corporation, the world’s largest company solely focused on data warehousing and enterprise analytics, today announced that OGE Energy Corp. (OGE) has selected the Teradata Data Warehouse Appliance platform for enterprise data warehousing. The Appliance will support the energy company’s Smart Grid initiative being deployed by its utility subsidiary, Oklahoma Gas & Electric, which will utilize the Data Warehouse Appliance to consolidate existing data combined with new forms of data being generated by its Smart Grid systems.
