Wisconsin Dept. of Revenue uses SAS® to improve revenue generation, efficiency

The Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR) is increasing revenues by automating tasks and better data sharing. Wisconsin DOR uses software from SAS, the leader in business analytics software and services, to bring in data from its audit and tax processing system and identify opportunities for more efficient collections. 

In the fourth quarter of 2008, the system processed more than 150,000 queries, more than double the previous quarter. Customizable reports delivered through a Web portal give some 500 users the answers they need to improve decision making.
